Macmillian Fest 2017: Who to Watch on the Vocalzone Stage

Macmillans_Festival

In the heart of Nottingham city centre comes Macmillan Fest where over 63 artists of different genres will be playing across seven stages, pleasing excited crowds all dedicated to supporting the good fight against cancer, whilst enjoying bands from around the country.

The titles slightly misleading… there are so many amazing acts performing this weekend, so we’re previewing a small snapshot of what’s to come on the Vocalzone Stage! We can’t wait!

Are you going to Macmillan Fest this year? Keep an eye out for the guys in the Vocalzone tees and come and say hello!

Being the main support band on the Rock City stage, Our Hollow Our Home have recently blown through the roof with their with their sick riffs and gut tearing vocals, sound conquering the southern coast with their second album Hartsick receiving critical acclaim. With their unique sound, this melodic metalcore outfit is definitely worthy of your attention.

Hacktivist don’t need introducing, and that’s why they are headlining this year’s Rock City stage! With a unique mix of djent and nu metal, Hactivist have played and proven themselves at festivals such as Download, Sonisphere and Rock Am Ring just to name a few, next up is Macmillan Fest!

No matter what festival you go to, you always need a local band to warm up the audience and to set the standard of whats to come. This year that responsibility has fallen to Wolves Don’t Sleep, and like any great band worth seeing these guys are more than up to the challenge. Having been described as “As I Lay Dying meets Emmure”, these guys are a top act to watch, particularly if you’ve not heard their music before.

Now over to Derby where Bury The Traitor was born! Coming out of the shadows in 2016, Bury The Traitor have been touring the UK relentlessly and are always taking their music to new heights, constantly experimenting in metalcore, hardcore and progressive, promising you one hell of a show.

But dont take our word for it..check Macmillan Fest out and buy tickets yourself!
