Canvas Wall – Vocalzone Live Sessions

This time joined in the studio by Maltese alternative rock outfit, Canvas wall.

Canvas Wall are a fresh take on a blend of genres. From blistering stadium rock to head bopping indie pop, they manage to create a colourful interweaving and textured sound, layering spine tingling melodies over a banging vacuum-packed rhythm section. Their songs sing of soul searching visions fuelled by a passion for life.

The band formed in 2008 by Simon Dounis and Craig Rogerson, who were later joined by long-time friend Dean Zammit and more recently, Matteo Basile.

They spent the next two years writing, rehearsing, touring and building a following and a name in London’s buzzing music scene – meet the guys in the video below.

In 2011 Canvas Wall released their first music video for ‘Close to the Edge’ under the creative wings of the world famous visual effects company, The Mill (Gladiator the movie, Florence And The Machine’s- No Light No Light) which saw 11,000 hits in a matter of months.

However, the song Canvas Wall brought to the Live Session studio was ‘Come And Get It’. A brilliantly catchy track from their brand new EP ‘Mannekind’ that gets anyone who listens to it bouncing!
