Maxi Nil, born and raised in Athens Greece, is a singer, songwriter, vocal producer and vocal coach. She is a proud cat mother, a full-time dream chaser, in a few words “a rock chic to the bone”
Being an only child, her need for creativity came early in her life and at the age of 3 she was spending hours everyday by herself singing and painting. At the age of 5 she started taking flute and percussion lessons and in the next years some piano and guitar lessons followed.
Singing came into her life at the age of 15 when she joined her first hard rock band. The years that followed were full of gigs over Greece with many different bands from the jazz, rock, folk and metal scene.
In 2003 Maxi recorded her first album with the Atmospheric Death metalers On Thorns I lay. In the same year she joined the gothic metalers In Comma and a few years later the band signed with Massacre Records Germany and under the name Elysion she co-composed and recorded their debut album “Silent Scream”.
In 2009, after parting ways with Elysion, Maxi joined the Austrian Symphonic metalers Visions Of Atlantis. Together they released 3 albums, toured the world from Asia to Africa and Europe and played the biggest European Music festivals such us Metalfest, Nova Rock, Metal Female Voices, Metalcamp, Wacken Open Air and more, along with artists such as Sinead O’Connor ,Ozzy, Motorhead, Nightwish, Evanescence, Linking Park, The Offspring, Metallica and many more.

In 2013, after parting ways with VoA, she formed her own band Jaded Star and released their debut album “Memories From The Future” in 2015 via Sensory Records USA. The album received great reviews worldwide and took the band on the road touring Europe with Moonspell, Dagoba, Xandria, Serenity, Anneke Van Giersbergen and playing festivals such as Dames of Darkness UK , Metal Female Voices BE, Winter Masters of Rock CZ, Metal Hammer Paradise DE etc
In 2014 Maxi decides to follow a new path in her career and she becomes a full time vocal coach and vocal producer which is something that she loves doing until now.
“It makes me feel useful and happy” she states.
Maxi is currently in the studio, with Jaded Star, working on their upcoming album and future touring.
