Marky started teaching himself piano at 14. At 18, whilst studying voice at The London College of Music, he started working as a resident musician in local bars and clubs. It’s here he developed his Boogie/Rock n Roll style piano playing along with his ability to interact with an audience.

It’s also during this time he started working with Nikki Lamborn, Vocal coach for Newton Faulkner and Beverley Knight. Marky is now himself a well sought after vocal and performance coach.
In 2024 he released his first full album ‘Bad Idea’ Which featured some of the best musicians on the London Jazz Scene. Featuring both his signature heart racing Rock n Roll sound and heart felt ballads. It truly shows his versatility.
