Take Today

Take Today formed in 2012 as nothing more than college band mates with a mutual respect for the alternative rock music scene.

Fast forward 6 years and with a few line-up changes under their belt, the band are feeling strong, confident and ambitious as they head into 2018 under the wings of Reaction Management. Front-man Paul Daly’s distinctive Scottish accent draws parallels with bands such as Twin Atlantic and their heavy guitar and bass riffs have been compared to the likes of Royal Blood and Nirvana.

From their debut album ‘choices’ comes ‘Fear From Society’. Listen below!

The band released EP ‘Down But Not Out’ in 2014 which led to the release of their debut album ‘Choices’ in 2016 and they have just recently released their first music video for ‘Wasting Time’, which is taken from the band’s brand new EP ‘Rise Above’ that will be released this summer.

Also from the debut album is ‘Believe The Difference’.

Progressively making a name for themselves on the Glasgow music scene, Take Today have played with a number of artists across the city, gaining respect from their peers as their dedicated fan base increases with each show.

The band have been invited to perform at King Tut’s New Year Revolution Festival twice and sold out their headline show on their 3rd appearance at the famous venue. They also recently supported Altered Sky on the Garage Main Stage which was their biggest show to-date.

Take Today will promote the release of forthcoming EP ‘Rise Above’ with a full UK tour later in the year.

Let’s see what Paul Daly has to say about Vocalzone!

“I used Vocalzone throughout the recording of our Album and EP and can always rely on it to help me at a shows, I spent years trying to find something that would work for my voice and I’m so glad I’ve finally found these, never turning back!”
