Sounds Like Silver

Sounds Like Silver are a high energy, young, four piece band hailing from the South West’s Taunton area!

The band consists of Dan Cullen as vocal and rhythm guitar, Lewis Poole as Lead Guitar (and helping out dan with vocals), Ryan Howell strumming away on Bass and last but not least Lewis Bond smashing the drums. Sounds Like Silver’s repertoire consists of rock, pop rock and pop punk anthems, including songs from popular artists such as Blink182, Fall Out Boy, Stereophonics, Green day, Feeder, Busted and many more!

Sounds Like Silver also write and play original songs, drawing influence from the above mentioned and a vast array of others.

Here we have ‘Hollywood’ by Sounds Like Silver which was filmed at Winky Kicks Cancer Festival fighting the good fight!

The band formed in April 2016 and have since played many gigs in Taunton, Yeovil and RiccosThe band has been together just under two years, playing paid and charity gigs including Cobblestones in Bridgwater, Beirkeller in Taunton, Chicago Rock Cafe in Yeovil, The Cove in Kingsbridge, The Vintage in Wellington and other festivals such as Taunton FakeFestival, continuing to grow a good fanbase with their upbeat, lively and enthusiastic performances. Wherever they play, they get the fans and casual listeners (regular punters) involved with the show they put on.

Being no strangers to performing covers of the bands that influenced them, here is Sounds Like Silver’s cover of ‘Year 3000’ originally by Busted.

They are also booked to support arguably the Uk’s best Fall Out Boy Tribute – Fell Out Boy in February.

Sounds Like Silver are a very exciting up and coming band in their twenties, with some venues booking almost a year in advance! They have recieved several great reviews and are becoming increasingly popular with many venues around Somerset and Devon.

The band are incredibly hard working, and are looking to bring something excitingly different to the music industry, with work on their debut EP currently in progress.

Let’s see what Dan Cullen has to say about Vocalzone!

“I can’t go through a performance without Vocalzones. My vocal work on my FDA Music Production course, band practice and every single gig I’ve had over the last 5 years and they’ve got me out of a few tough times when I’ve not been well or been struggling vocally. I probably wouldn’t be in the position I am without Vocalzones.”
