Emerging from the midlands underground is Obey!

Hard Rock juggernauts Obey have come a long way since forming in 2008, releasing 3 albums, winning 2011’s Surface Festival at the Millenium Dome in London, 2012’s Marshall Best Guitarist Award, 2015’s Metal to the Masses to then grace the stage at Bloodstock, and also playing the opening and closing ceremonies for the Charity ‘Movember’ at the Koko and the Roundhouse in London.

The meaning of ‘Aberattion’ is the depature from what is normal, luckily for us that exactly what Obey have done with the with this track! Watch the video below!

In 2015 Obey underwent a lineup change and with it their sound has evolved and grown into what is ‘Maelstrom’, their 2016 release. Obey take their influences from Sabbath, Pantera, Mastodon and Clutch to name but a few. They are currently working on a new album with producer Sam Bloor at Lower Lane Studios, due for release in 2019. Recently Obey has turned ten years old and show no sign of slowing down!

Let’s see what Steve Pickin has to say about Vocalzone!

I was first introduced to Vocalzone at Bloodstock 2015 when Obey won M2TM and played the Newblood stage. A lovely woman called Burd Jones gave me a few packs and I’ve been using them ever since. A great product, with a good kick. Does exactly what it says on the tin!
