Nightlives

Blending the harshness of metal with the intensity of electronic..Here’s Nightlives

Blending hectic electronic parts and samples with hard-hitting guitar riffs, Nightlives have cemented themselves as part of the Cardiff scene with intensive, high-energy live shows, playing in venues across the UK, and alongside bands like The One Hundred and Massmatiks.

Although the band describe themselves as Electro-Punk (for lack of a better term), their music is difficult to define. Including elements of Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Hip-Hop alongside heavy punk and metal in their songs, with rapped vocals working alongside huge melodic choruses, the band’s influences range from Enter Shikari, Periphery and Rage Against the Machine, to Pendulum and The Prodigy.

Displaying the band’s penchant for heavy Drum and Bass in hybrid with epic guitar riffs, here’s their latest single ‘TRIVIALISE’

As well as regularly performing live shows in South Wales and beyond, the band have released two studio singles to date and have received extensive praise from online music publications and blogs, as well as BBC Radio, where they have received airtime for each of their singles on BBC Introducing.

Here’s the fast hitting ‘Tierra Muerta’

Nightlives show no sign of slowing down, and are currently hard at work on new music to be released in the coming months with a single currently in production. Keep an eye on this band, they are not to be missed.

Lets see what Taf Richards has to say about Vocalzone!!

“The vocal parts I perform for Nightlives can be extremely demanding and require me to be very versatile. Live and in the studio, I shift between melodic parts, harsh screams and rapped parts. I need to be on top of my game, and I use Vocalzones almost religiously before and after every performance. As well as helping keep my voice in the best shape it can be, they also help boost my confidence in what I can do with my voice and how far I can push myself.”
