Johnny Lucas returns to the Live Session studio.
You may recognise Johnny’s stunning voice from featuring in one of our first ever sessions. He joined us to record ‘Lilo’, an upbeat tune brilliantly crafted by Lucas with the use of his loop pedal.
However, it was just after recording had finished when Johnny picked up his guitar and played us ‘By The By’. We were stunned. It didn’t take long before Johnny was back in the studio with us to record an unplugged version of this truly amazing track. Watch below.
Johnny Lucas just moved to Nashville after playing this year’s Isle of Wight and Glastonbury Festivals in England.
He writes and performs fresh anthem-like songs, which keeps you singing through the dark times as well as the bright. With influences ranging from 60’s McCartney and Ray Davies to his own stamp on Modern Brit Pop, Johnny’s easy-to-relate-to, feel-good music always leaves you in a brighter mood.
