Halflives is Linda Battilani, a singer, songwriter, producer, and living proof that you create yourself. Having written all the songs and co-produced on her latest EP “V”, Linda brings her vision to life, not only musically but artistically as a whole through music videos, photos, or even merch designs.
On this record, Halflives return to an anthemic rock sound inspired by the modern revival of the genre, spiced up with trap elements that have increasingly been a part of their sound over the years, and topped by love-at-first-listen pop melodies. Unapologetic and outspoken, the record is designed to be a vessel for those who have something to say and can’t find the words or the way to speak out.
Halflives has been building steam over a series of EPs starting with “Empty Rooms” (2017) followed by “Resilience” (2020) and “V” (2021), and multiple tours supporting the likes of Against the Current, The Faim, Icon for Hire and more.
Halflives writes music to inspire the rejected and stand tall with them.
A new single “Dynamite” released on April 1st 2022 marks the beginning of a new era.
