Gaz Jenkins

From wales to theatre to success, Gaz Jenkins has become a rising star!

Originally from South Wales, Gaz moved to Blackpool aged 19 to study Musical Theatre. Following graduation, he joined Steel Wasp Theatre Company for their national tour of ‘Moll Flanders’ before embarking on a 9-month cruise around the Mediterranean onboard the M/V Island Escape.

Upon his return to the UK, he quickly established himself as one of the most in-demand vocalists on the corporate and cabaret scene, securing contracts in some of the UK’s best entertainment venues.

In 2008, he returned to his theatre roots and formed Red 2 Theatre Company with long-term friend Lara Denning, and together they appeared in the North West premier of Jason Robert Brown’s ‘The Last Five Years’. This was followed by a series of concerts at Blackpool Grand Theatre, The Union Theatre (London), Leicester Square Theatre, Battersea Barge and Live at Zedel (for Scott Alan).

In 2013, Gaz joined Hartshorn-Hook Productions, playing Jake Blues in ‘A Tribute To The Blues Brothers – Live’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Gaz continues to honour the work of The Blues Brothers in his show ‘The Music Of The Blues Brothers’, which can be seen in various venues across the North West.

Gaz joined the cast of Trevor Chance’s ‘Legends’ in 2016, and can be seen hosting the show at The Sands Venue in Blackpool throughout the current Summer Season, as well as balancing his solo work and voiceover commitments.

Lets see what Gaz Jenkins has to say about Vocalzone!!

“I started using Vocalzone when I became a full-time singer, approx. 5 years ago. I’m the kind of performer who leaves it all on the stage – I don’t like to hold back, so that can sometimes lead to vocal fatigue. I found that the lozenges gave me incredible clarity and helped me immensely on nights when I was feeling less than 100%. I never leave for a gig or recording session without them.”
