Big Zuu somehow manages to stand out in the already booming london grime scene!
Armed with a big, gravely bark for a flow, Big Zuu is one of those acts to know: inspired by Channel U’s golden years, and Dot Rotten in his prime, he has rightfully earned his place as one of the scene’s rising stars. Along with a handful of others, Big Zuu has helped give new life to the art of MCing live on pirate radio; and it’s a “shelly” situation during most of his week as the host of his own show on Radar Radio. The former youth worker, who now wants to uplift the youth through his music.
From his self titled EP comes ‘No Restarts’ proving he only delivers the hardest bars.
Big Zuu is also part of the crew ‘MTP’ which is the same crew ‘AJ Tracey’ is in (they made it together) having members such as Sketch, Wax and more—and together they hope to take their West LDN grime dream global.
He is constantly performing shows every week for the last two years, but has also got his very own radio show on Radar Radio and Go Radio to spread his music on places like BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, KISS FM etc. his latest release did really well and has got serious radio play and is continuing to do really well on the streaming services.
Check out Big Zuu’s track ‘Builders’ below.
Constantly growing and proving himself along with his active part in the West London grime scene it’s no wonder why Big Zuu is becoming one of more recognisable names on the streets.
Let’s see what Big Zuu has to say about Vocalzone!
“When you have two shows in a row sometimes you can overdo it at the first show so now your voice is gone and the second show feels impossible. My friend recommended Vocalzone and it really helped, better than any tea or remedy people try to tell you to use. I took Vocalzone and my voice instantly felt better and I was able to do my second show since then I’ve been taking it when I have a show one after the other and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without it”
