Benzokayn

Benzokayn deliver a cynical message with a positive energy.

“With their early origins forming in 2012, Melodic-Hardcore / Nu-Metallers Benzokayn experienced a significant rebirth in 2017 thanks to the release of debut EP “Happy Pills” and the follow up double A-side “Humdinger/Everything’s Gonna Be Fine”(see below for video). Both of which are available on all major digital platforms to blow away both long time fans and eager newcomers.

In the track ‘Everything Thing’s Gonna Be Fine’ Benzokayn display both that classic Nü-Metal sound and modern Hardcore to carve a rare niche that makes a hell of a combination.

The band has some awesome official music videos for the singles “Rising (Horizon)”, “Humdinger” and “Everything’s Gonna Be Fine” and more ridiculous content all on BENZOKAYN’s YouTube channel.
Live shows in the past 12 months included support slots with US rap rockers Crazy Town and Dog Eat Dog on top of a performance at London Scala’s Face Down, as well as finding the time to get a collaboration with Hed PE’s Jahred Gomes under their belts!

Newly recruited drummer James Mason has kicked the Benzo-Bus into a whole new gear with token emo Owain Lewis completing the rhythm section in stylish fashion. Grooving riffs and a whole mass of hair are delivered by twin brothers Tom & Nick Alexis-Webb (with Tom particularly out to prove that KoRn do not get the monopoly on dreadlocks in rock music).

From where it all started with the Debut EP ‘Happy Pills’ is ‘Rising(Horizon)’.

The band are currently grafting away in the studio getting stuck into work on their first full length album, set for release over the course of 2018. Expect to see BENZOKAYN cramming in a UK tour or 2 to take the new material on the road and out to the masses!
With each stellar achievement surpassing the previous one, the future looks as bright as the burning flames of chaotic frontman Ritchie McKeough’s beard.”

Let’s see what Benzokayn has to say about Vocalzone!

“We have 2 vocalists with contrasting styles (1 melodic, 1 aggressive) that prove Vocalzone cater for everyone! We already share numerous packets of Vocalzone lozenges for gigs, rehearsals and recording.”
