The Ronains

The Ronains formed in Nov 2015 under the guidance of Gordy Goudie, guitarist and producer for Simple Minds and Echo & The Bunnymen).

They have sold out venues such as the O2 ABC, Glasgow, both stages of the The Cavern Club, Liverpool, King Tuts, Glasgow and have graced some of the biggest venues in their hometown such the Barrowlands main stage.

The band have recently returned from a very successful tour of America’s East coast playing Baltimore, New York City, Virginia and a sold out gig in Philidelphia at The Fire following in the footsteps of My Chemical Romance and John Legend to name but a few.

In 2016 Billy Sloan of BBC Radio Scotland chose their single Anonymous as one of his singles of the year and is a huge supporter of the band, as is Leona Graham from Absolute Radio.

The Ronains have played alongside bands such as Razorlight, Dodgy and Amy MacDonald at Party at The Palace and have been both The Sun and The Daily Record’s ones to watch out for. Their debut album, Love, Drugs & On The Dole brings the true story of controversial character Lizzy Coyne to life through hard hitting and nail biting lyrics of murder, revenge, prostitution and survival. The band have also brought the story to life in their hard hitting videos which drive the story home.
