Goldblume

Goldblume

Goldblume, have gone from strength to strength as they worked away in the shadows.

Wiry melodies with genuine emotion, Goldblume seek to take on most alternative genres with a blend of math-rock, post-rock, grunge, punk and prog, all settling in an uneasy and cathartic truce whenever they play. This anxious and raw Cambridgeshire three-piece take inspiration from Pulled Apart By Horses, Cloud Nothings, and Reuben, and have already garnered support from regional BBC Introducing shows and slots under bands such as Tellison, Press to Meco, Grieving, and Bellevue Days.

Their debut album ‘Husk‘ is a record that is impossible to pigeonhole neatly, drawing aspects of math-rock, grunge, punk and alternative rock. Following on from 2015’s Real Nice and 2017’s Go Figure EPs—as well as the standalone single, ‘Fawning’, and a session with BBC Introducing—HUSK is a mature step forwards, showing Goldblume in a whole new light, and reaching a new level of songwriting craftsmanship.

From the debut album of the same name, here is ‘Husk’!

Let’s see what Jethro Steel has to say about Vocalzone!

“Vocalzone products enable me to sing for every show – with the mixture of yelps, screams, belts, and wild falsetto I employ, the strains of touring over condensed weekenders can often leave my throat and voice hoarse and sore. A pastille around one hour before each show, followed by some vocal warmups and stretches, has always allowed me to power through and deliver.”
