Bringing in all manner of Fuzz and what could only be described as Pyscho Rock is exactly what you will hear with Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats!

Formed in Cambridge in 2009 by Kevin Starrs, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats are one of the leading bands in the underground rock scene. Mixing heavy riffs with two-part vocal harmonies and macabre lyrics, the band have released five critically acclaimed albums and were selected as the only support act for the legendary Black Sabbath’s European tour in 2013.

From their latest album ‘Wasteland’, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats release a little bit of anarchy in the form of their single ‘Shockwave City’. Watch the music video below!

The band has been described as “the original Alice Cooper band jamming in a cell with early Black Sabbath and the Stooges”. In order to replicate the sound of that era, the band uses vintage instruments and recording equipment.

They’ve since performed at prestigious festivals such as Montreux Jazz, Roskilde and Pukkelpop and sold out 13 shows on their first ever North American tour, including two nights at the legendary Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles. Their latest album Wasteland reached No. 3 on the Billboard Heatseeker Charts and has seen them play their biggest headline shows to date on both sides of the Atlantic.

Let’s see what Kevin Starrs had to say about Vocalzone!

“I never tour without Vocalzones. They’ve become essential in preparing my voice before every show and are especially helpful when I’m under the weather.”
