Born in New Malden, 25-year-old Luke Sital-Singh cites Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Josh Ritter as influences. Luke's first EP, entitled 'Fail For You', was released on 8 August 2012, reaching No. 3 in the iTunes singer-songwriter charts, and No. 1 on both Bandcamp and Noisetrade. The EP received critical acclaim with the single featuring on the BBC 6 Music Playlist, The Guardian F&M Playlist, and The Buzz in NME. 'Bottled Up Tight', Sital-Singh's second single, gained a place on BBC Radio 1's In New Music We Trust playlist in March 2013, as well as a spot on Radio 6's Rebel playlist. Luke has toured solidly as support to The Staves, Martha Wainwright, Kodaline and Villagers, and also played a sold-out series of headline shows across London. In November 2013 Luke released his 3rd EP 'Tornados'.
Luke has recently got signed by Parlophone Records and is working on his debut album which is set for release this summer.
