Career Details

Ian is the former lead Vocalist with the group Mott the Hoople whose hits included the Bowie produced All The Young Dudes. Ian released 8 albums with the band before he left in 1974. Since then he has released a further 19 albums and it is fair to say quality of Hunter's recorded repertoire has never wavered from the very highest caliber and consistency.
